Finally the winner of the cupcake war is……

Yaaaay! Unlike the other cupcakeries, LA Sweets actually offered more than 3 flavors. They have the best guava, papaya and raspberry cupcakes in town! I was so pleasantly surprised to see such variety. It was a breathe of fresh air and unlike the other cupcakeries it was spacious. $1 for mini cupcakes.
Buttercream Cupcake was my second place winner. They had a large selection and their forks are so cute! I ordered a lemon, red velvet and peanut-butter chocolate cupcake. The lemon cupcake was delicious and was the reason they landed in 2nd. the flavor compared to Red Velvet Cupcakery in DC. Each cupcake cost $2.75
3rd place Cupcake Nouveau. They were featured on the Food Network so I was expecting it to wow me. Sadly they only had 3 flavors to choose from at like 2pm and mind you they close at 7pm. I was ridiculously disappointed. I chose their vanilla elegance and moulin rouge. The vanilla elegance was amazingly awesome. If you have not tried it please try it. I will give it to them, I have never been wowed with a vanilla cupcake, but this was truly perfect. The frosting was smooth, and the presentation was super nice. The second cupcake, moulin rouge.. umm lets just say that not even my bf that eats literally anything could eat it. It was just bad. I don’t know what it was, but it was nasty. Each cupcake cost $2.75
4th place was Misha’s Cupcakes. They too only had 3 flavors available. Wth? So with so many options I had the marble and oreo. The marble was very good, but Misha’s is overly hyped here in Miami. MIni cupcake was $1.25 each.
5th place was Divine Delicacies. Their marble cupcake was okay. It was moist, but nothing special. Each cupcake is $2.
